Yount Ridge Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley 2021

The 2021 Yount Ridge Cabernet Sauvignon opens with aromas of summer cherries, sagebrush, and blackberry preserves. Delicate whispers of polished French oak, nuances of Tahitian vanilla, baker's chocolate, and toasted peppercorns arise with a few swirls of air, to be followed by inky and velvety sensations of crushed raspberries, red plums, black currants fit to burst. The percolating acidity rushes in with hints of orange oil and mineral-driven graphite edges, lingering impressively into a warm and soft conclusion. A bright, structured, and age-worthy cabernet sauvignon that showcases the purity and expression of the memorable and well-regarded vintage.

This is the first vintage from the hands of our new winemaker, Jean Hofliger, and what a vintage it was! The 2021 harvest is establishing itself as one to remember. This bottling is exceptional now, and will only grow in complexity and elegance in the years to come.
